“Two people. One house. A year that changes everything.” … Too bad there wasn’t just two people in the house, it would have saved Jess and Alex some time and trouble!
I digress, I really enjoyed this story and liked how it was told in the timeframe over a year. The switching between Jess and Alex’s points of view was done well and the story flowed nicely.
Jess is almost thirty and has given up a steady job in her hometown to follow her dream and work in publishing in London. Alex has give up a lucrative career (and fiancee) to changes careers and become a nurse. Both strapped for cash when a metal friend invites them to live in their house share in posh Notting Hill. Along with Becca, Emma Rob, they will learn the ropes of their new lives together over the course of a London year.
This was really sweet and a fun holiday read. It provided all the feels!
