Perhaps in real life similar epiphany and transitions can happen too. These two were a great pair and I was rooting for them from the beginning, not only for success in their re

An Heiress to Remember

An Heiress to Remember The Gilded Age Girls Club by Maya Rodale ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ /5 The final book in the Gilded Age Girls Club series, An Heiress to Remember ends the series with pizzazz! The glitz and glamour are at their true height as dulling department store owners, Beatrice Goodwin and Wes Dalton fight for top billing. First Comes Scandal

First Comes Scandal A Bridgerton Sequel, Rokesbys Book 4 by Julia Quinn ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ /5 You can’t go home again... unless you’re going home with the Bridgertons, than you can and it will be great! I like to think of this book in two parts: 1st - the family reunion and 2nd the creation of Georgie and Nicholas Rokesby as a unified couple. The story definitely hooked me in at the beginning with the cameos and family drama you would expect! What would a Bridgerton prequel be without a glimpse at our favourite mother, Violet Bridgerton and with growing brood! As a reader of both the Bridgerton and the prequel series, I greatly enjoyed and appreciated the familiar faces the author brought back for us to catch up with.  Throughout all the reunion time, we learn that Georgie has been ruined, but as we come to expect form our beloved Bridgertons, they would never fore her to marry the cur that ruined her. So what will Georgie do now? Here comes her godfather, Lord Manston (

In Bed with the Earl

In Bed with the Earl Lost Lords of London, Book 1 by Christi Caldwell ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ /5 Get yourself ready for a wet and wild adventure! You are about to experience lifestyles for the rich and tosher! Be warned, the life of a tosher is not for the faint of heart. If the smell of London’s sewers doesn’t get you, then you risk your life from falling brick, raging waters and ravenous hordes of rats. All in the name of that sweet, sweet tosh- underground lost treasure! This story was great, from the fascinating perspective of the lost Earl turned tosher for survival on the streets, to the strong female reporter risking everything for her family. Christi weaves together the characters and their emotional development so seamlessly, you can’t help but be swept away in their tale. I loved how this story was told by the grittier side of London by characters who know strife. Their hardships and their successes were both deeply moving. I will definitely be on the lookout for the nex
