Accidentally Engaged

Accidentally Engaged by Farah Heron ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ /5 This book captured me from page one! I fell for Reena and Nadim from their first meet-cute and only fell deeper as this adorable cute pair fight against their attraction as they find themselves pretending to be engaged!   Reena refuses to accept the almost too perfect Nadim and because her parents have arranged this union- she will not give them the satisfaction… even if he is extremely attractive, attentive and into food and bread as much as she is! Just because she refuses to marry him, that doesn’t mean they can’t be friends, and fake-engaged tamales for a food competition… As they film their contest entries, the chemistry is a delicious as the food they make and soon they decide that they can be a not -getting-married couple and let their attraction come to fruition! Like any good meal left out too long, this relationship starts to spoil when secrets from their and their families pasts finally come to the service. Can they salvag

When a surprise inheritance brings lone wolf, Rye to Garnet Run in search of a home he has never had, his surreptitious meeting of Charlie at his hardware store sets them on  path that neither of them expected and both of them always dreamed of: a  home and family. I am a sucker for a good odd couple pairing, and prickly Rye and cuddly Charlie make a a delightful match as they get to know one another. Soon they find that they not only have a spark between them, but are each in possession of what the other wants and needs to finds their own happiness. I especially enjoyed the softening of Rye as he takes it slow, respecting Charlies’s boundaries and uncertainties as they explore their connectio

Hero Wanted

Hero Wanted Reluctant Heroes, Book 1 by Betina Krahn ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ /5 This book captivated me from the first chapter where our hoyden heroine strips to her underclothes to perform a daring water rescue of two women, while her fiancee sits back and watches agog! After growing up reading of hero’s like Ivanhoe, she can not believe that her fiancee is a coward… how will they ever get along? I absolutely loves the impetuous Lauren Alcott and the ever proper Rafe Townsend. These two opposites have been forced together in a match in order to same their family business… Lucy for them, once they agree to work together, they make a better team than on their own. Soon these enemies start seeing each other for who they are and quickly become infatuated with each other… Hero Wanted had me staying up late to keep reading from all the action, twist and turns and funny moments that made this story all the more enjoyable. Needless to say, this action packed, sweet romance is full of drama from th

Recent divorcee, Georgia Stanton is not in the mood for love and happy endings…  So when a hot shot author is brought in to complete her great-grandmother and famous author’s memoirs, Scarlett Stanton, she makes one caveat; no happily ever after.
