Get A Life, Chloe Brown

 by Talia Hibert

My first read of 2020 and this was a true delight!

I hadn’t been expecting too much from Chloe’s bucket list, but it pull at my heart in more ways than one. When the book began, Chloe had the potential to be terrible, but that was only her survival instinct coming out. I personally can not imagine a life with debilitating pain/ fatigue, but chronic fatigue syndrome is real and truly diminishes the standard of living for those suffering. Chloe is strong and admirable. She deserved her HEA and it brought tears to my eyes when she realized it for herself.

Red… what can I say about Red ❤️❤️❤️… he is not without his own flaws, but he is the man you want around. Caring, understanding… empathetic, sexy as hell. He was amazing. His interactions with Chloe were a true delight.

This book is a must read- to garner empathy for those with issues that we can not see on the outside and for the amazing love story too.

Side note- I listened to the audiobook for this and the narrator was GREAT! I highly recommend giving it a listen.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐/5

The Lady Tempts the Heir

The Lady Tempts the Heir The Gilded Age Heiresses, Book #3 by Harper St. George ⭐⭐⭐⭐/5  Max Crenshaw has been summoned back to England for the third time… in the past it was over drama with his sisters and his parents matchmaking schemes… now his father is ill and has his sights set on his legacy. It’s Max’s turn to marry! But Max isn’t going to just heed his father’s demands- he’s his own man and it’s a modern (Gilded) age! Solution: he will find a fake fiancée to cease his threats. His sisters friend, whom he had a shared experience with, the widowed Lady Helena March would be perfect! Just what his father wants and bonus-she’s not interested in marriage either! Ah, the old fake engagement! I suggest choosing someone you don’t actually like if you don’t want to end up married for real in the end! I jest! Max and Helena make a perfect pairing… so perfect the only thing that seems to be keeping them from actually being engaged in truth is the long distanced nature of ...
