New Years Resolutions...

It's been a while since I posted a review... Over the Christmas holidays my mothers' long-term illness took a turn for the worse. We had a week at that point and then she left us. This didn't come as a total shock, she had been diagnosed with stage 3 COPD over a year and a half ago and he'd been in a decline ever since.

I love the holidays. All the activities and family events have always been my crack. I busted my ass this year creating a sense of normalcy for my kids/family. And the end result was I became exhausted, sure I still read, mainly audiobooks, but I didn't have the focus. My mom and family enveloped my world there for a few weeks... and that was ok. But now I have to reclaim my own self and reading and the. book community is a huge part of that. My personal joy.

Review more! I was in a habit of only reviewing my ARC's, but I need to commit to reviewing all my reads, weather is a quick few note or more in-depth. I want to improve my consistency and my reviews in general.

Im looking forward to moving forward in 2020. Good things are to come!

Characters that are developed and graphics you, quick flowing plots to move the story and an ending to delight! As a duke, Matthew believes he should be able to marry anyone he decides on… and he decides that the perfect bride to fit into his unconventional life is his neighbour, Sarah. Since Sarah has never even met Mathew before his proposal, she decides that a courtship is needed before she make up her mind!
