Beauty Tempts the Beast

Beauty Tempts the Beast

Sins for All Seasons Book #6

by Lorraine Heath

⭐⭐⭐⭐💫/5

The end of an era! The Turelove’s stories have been providing roguish book boyfriends for years and Lorraine Heath Definitely ended with the best of the lot, Beast.

Beast is the man you want in your corner. He is someone who stands up for the less fortunate and while doing so, lifts them up as well. He is truly a king among men!

When Beasts notices that the new serving girls at his sister’s tavern doesn’t belong, he he becomes fixated on her and determines that she is the one who can solve his housing problems. Beast lives in a brothel and in order to put an end to the brother, he needs to find the girls better , respectable positions. Who better to polish the girls behaviour and manners, than a former scion of the ton.

Althea will accept Beasts generous terms, with one of her own; teach her the rules for seduction. She has lost all that she has know, so now she will make her future with her own decisions. After her deal with Beast is complete , she will become a courtesan.

As the lessons are given, both Beast and Althea begin to learn many things that they did not expect, like what love feels like and how much you are will to do for the person you love.

I didn't know until reading this last book in the series, that Beast would be my favourite of all the Tureloves. Lorraine Heath has written and gorgeous and scintillating tale that series and standalone readers will love!

Beauty Tempts the Beast by Lorraine Heath is scheduled to release September 29th, 2020.

I received a complimentary copy of this book from HarperCollins Publishers, Avon Books through Edelweiss+. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own.

Remember Love

Remember Love Ravenswood series, Book 1 by Mary Balogh ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ /5 Historical romance queen, Mary Balogh introduces us to another brilliant extended family and reminds up to remember love in one swoop with this series opener! First off, this epic second chance romance gave me pure romantic chills that were remittent to reading Jane Austen’s Persuasion. Her beautiful storytelling and detailed descriptions and character building really immersed me into this story and made me root for second chances and love! Childhood neighbours, Devlin Ware and Gwyneth Rhys never know the other felt the same attraction and pull towards the other until the stars aligned at the neighbourhood fete and they finally discover their mutual affection… but they were not mean to be young lovers, since family scandal befalls Devin and he is banished from his family home.  White no where to go and a determination to shed his innocence and become a man, he enlist in a foot regiment… and stays away at war ...

The Gunslinger’s Guide to Avoiding Matrimony

The Gunslinger’s Guide to Avoiding Matrimony By Michelle MacLean ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/5 The follow up to Michelle MacLean’s Hitched to the Gunslinger, The Gunslinger’s Guide to Avoiding Matrimony is finally here and the citizens of Desolation are up to more shenanigans! Running from the law retired gunslinger/gambler Adam Woodson stumbled upon the town of Desolation. His timing is perfect and he walks right into the mess groom selection/ wedding ceremony for the town and ends up married to spinster Nora. Nora hadn’t planned on picking a groom, but Adam will suit her purpose nicely- she only needs a husband long enough to inherit her property… too bad Adam has no intention of being that husband! Now the rules of Desolation state a man must marry or find a job… so Adam starts trying his hand at all the jobs, while Nora attempts to woo him to sign the marriage papers. In general this is a cute and funny premise, but Adam’s insistence that he can’t/won’t marry is too much. I felt for Nora and her inse...

The Lady Tempts the Heir

The Lady Tempts the Heir The Gilded Age Heiresses, Book #3 by Harper St. George ⭐⭐⭐⭐/5  Max Crenshaw has been summoned back to England for the third time… in the past it was over drama with his sisters and his parents matchmaking schemes… now his father is ill and has his sights set on his legacy. It’s Max’s turn to marry! But Max isn’t going to just heed his father’s demands- he’s his own man and it’s a modern (Gilded) age! Solution: he will find a fake fiancée to cease his threats. His sisters friend, whom he had a shared experience with, the widowed Lady Helena March would be perfect! Just what his father wants and bonus-she’s not interested in marriage either! Ah, the old fake engagement! I suggest choosing someone you don’t actually like if you don’t want to end up married for real in the end! I jest! Max and Helena make a perfect pairing… so perfect the only thing that seems to be keeping them from actually being engaged in truth is the long distanced nature of ...
