Must Love Cowboys

Must Love Cowboys

Once Upon a Time in Texas #3

by Carly Bloom

⭐⭐⭐⭐ /5

This book was the perfect mix of cute first times and steamy interludes!

Cowboy Beau has had a crush on his old babysitter, Alice forever and she’s never seen him as anything other than the troublesome half of the Montgomery twins. Now with his brother taking a new job, Beau has to face his crush, admit his biggest shame and ask for help.

Town librarian, Alice has been self-partnered for a long time, and she is fine being a party of one. But when Beau asks for help tackling his dyslexia, she decides to make a deal with him to turn her party of one to a party of two for an upcoming wedding.

Soon tutoring session end up including lessons on fun, ticking off bucket list items together  and lessons in partnered sensuality!

I adored this pairing and really liked how Alice taught Beau that his dyslexia just made him learn differently and that he has always been intelligent. They both boosted up each other’s self esteem which was totally sexy and I loved it!

I was also super excited that this was a double book release, including the first book in Once Upon a Time in Texas series, Bid Bad Cowboy. I have heard so many great things about that book and after reading Muct Love Cowboys, I am eager to dive in!

Must Love Cowboys by Carly Bloom  released April 27th, 2021.

I received a complimentary copy of this book from Forever Grand Central Publishing) through NetGalley. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own.

Her beautiful storytelling and detailed descriptions and character building really immersed me into this story and made me root for second chances and love! A Bride's Guide to Marriage and Murder

A Bride's Guide to Marriage and Murder Countess of Harleigh Mystery, Book 5 by Dianne Freeman ⭐⭐⭐⭐ /5 They finally got hitched!! Fans of the Countess of Harleigh Mystery series will be happy to hear that before any murder took place Lady Harleigh and Mr Hazelton were married with all their friends and family in attendance! But there was definitely a murder mystery discovered before the end of the wedding breakfast! This was such a treat! As a series fan I was so happy to see Francis and George finally get married and now as Mr. and Mrs. Hazelton continue their detective work. These two are the ideal Victorian era couple goals. They easily work together on mutual goals and know how to play up each other’s strengths, while compensating for any weaknesses. They are definitely better together! This book has all the trappings that we come to expect in love from the series, including quirky with relatives with plenty of drama, nosey neighbours and friends and an intriguing ...

With the help of the local Widows league, his agent, his best friend and a gaseous pug he will ensure that he doesn’t add to Darcy’s troubles, but lightens her load. He will be the man she needs and hopefully her future. I found Jason and the town of Sunshine Valley cute and welcoming, but Darcy was a bit of an enigma. She had a very chameleon like personality and she was trying to find her colours in this new position she has found herself in. In doing so, she pushes away from people ...
