By Eloisa James Hmmm… this was a tough one for me… Poppy’s character starts out so whinny and unlikeable after the prologue that it is hard to get over. She can’t really be blamed with a mother like hers. Still, you can’t help but feel for Fletcher and his robotic wife.  I Once I was finished this book and thought about it, I felt there were a lot of similarities between North and Diana from Too Wilde to Wed… If you have read both, let me know your thoughts on this! My favourite part of the story was the side side story of the Duke of Villiers and Charlotte Tatlock. I loved their chirpy banter and the way they made each other stornger. (If you haven’t already, Eloisa James has an extra chapter with Charlottes HEA on her website! Check it out- it was just what I wanted to tie up the end of this story). Jess is almost thirty and has given up a steady job in her hometown to follow her dream and work in publishing in London. Alex has give up a lucrative career (and fiancee) to changes careers and become a nurse. Both strapped for cash when a metal friend invites them to live in their house share in posh Notting Hill. Along with Becca, Emma Rob, they will learn the ropes of their new lives together over the course of a London year. This was really sweet and a fun holiday read. It provided all the feels!
